Do you know of any other adoption blogs? I can't believe there aren't more blogs out there documenting their adoption journey. I see tons of adoption story sites where people create sites to tell their story after it's completed. And those are great. I love those! But what about sites that are used as a journal along the way?
If you know of any adoption blogs, please let me know. And also let me know of any adoption story sites. And if you're not quite sure what a blog really is, you can click here to get a quick description!

Hi Mark from Jody Moreen, Editor Adoption Blessings Journal. I just began a Blog sharing my adoption journey as an adoptee. I also want to share what I have learned being an adoption support group leader for a decade so hope to share a window into adoptees, birth parents and adoptive parents.
Just compiled/ published a book January 2005, "Letters and Reflections to My Adopted Daughters" Jody Moreen, penned by John Newton, 1700's English hymn writer of the famous hymn "Amazing Grace"(Published by Pleasant Word) 21 lovely letters edifying letters to his adopted daughter Elizabeth Catlett and the second part of the book is a narrative Newton wrote about his other daughter by adoption, Eliza Cunningham. She lived a short life dying of tuberculosis at 14. Her virtuous journey, strong faith and Christian maturity. A beautiful Christian book by an amazing man, pastor in England for 40 years but the first 40 years of his life lived in sin and folly- was a wretched man, captain of slave ships. But God transformed his heart leading him to become a pastor and a loving father of his 2 orphaned nieces (these girls were cousins on his wife Polly's side whose parents died leaving them both orphans.

Would love to connect other adoption sites to my Blog too, and wonder if anyone knows any Blog directories that sort and include Adoption
Posted by: Jody Moreen at April 29, 2005 08:24 AMLadies and Gentlemen, my wife and I are currently awaiting our referral from the CCAA and expect it ANY DAY now. As we have gone through this 14 month process, I have created a BLOG for men to visit, post, provide their experiences either going through the process, anxieties, or even contemplating adoption. It is a brand new BLOG and I hope that it can be a tool. Ladies, you are certainly welcome to visit, post, and add your expertise. I just had no outlet for my questions, fears, and anxiety and I created this out of my need. Please visit and give me some feedback. I will be adding ads that pertain to baby stuff, trip preparation, handy travel accessories, etc. That is coming by next week.
