Tomorrow we fly to Hawaii. Unfortunately this time it is not a planned vacation. Naomi's grandmother passed away so we are going to attend the funeral.
Her grandmother was wonderful. She always treated me with kindness. And she made the best sweet potato tempura in the world!
We are blessed to be able to travel to Hawaii to share this time with Naomi's family. And... we might just be able to show off little Kaylee girl while we are there. :-)
Posted by Mark at March 20, 2005 09:45 PMSo sorry to hear about Naomi's grandmother. I hope that you all will find some comfort in the time spent with family. And I'm sure little Kaylee will bring some light into a dark time.
Posted by: Tricia at March 20, 2005 10:04 PMHello!
My husband and I are hoping to adopt a waiting child from China. We are exploring ideas of the finances for adoption now.
I am a school teacher. Someone told me at school this morning that they heard there were days in China when women lined up ....giving away their babies. (to keep from sending them to the orphanage). Do you know if this is true and if there are in fact ways to go to China and adopt with out using an agency and bypassing the high fees??? Please help if you can.
Kaylee is precious!!!!!!!!!!!!!
