I am very excited to announce my newest project/site:
This is a brand new (launched today) message board site designed to do the following:
- Assist others in their journey to adopt from China
- Create an enjoyable community for those who have completed the journey
- And to provide an environment where we can share stories, make friends, and have a little fun
But first I need some people (YOU) to help me get it started. :-) Here is how you can help:
- First, register a user name (become a member) - it's simple and quick.
- Next, post some messages.
- Tell your friends about us.
- If you have your own web site, please put a link to us on it.
It's going to take some time and some work but I know we can get this thing going.
Please help me out by joining. It's simple & quick to register. And most importantly, you will be helping to create a site that can assist others in their journey to adopt from China!

Okay, so I joined the site...but I am EXTREMELY computer challenged. SOOO...once I logged in/registered, I had NO clue how to proceed!!! Any advice, Mark?
By the way...MORE pictures, please! I need a Kaylee fix, as my friends say about MY daughter! :)

Thanks for joining. If you haven't joined a message board before, it can take a little snooping around to figure it out. But trust me, it's very simple once you understand the basic steps. In fact, it's not uncommon to see first time members end up with thousands of posts their first year. Once you get the hang of it, message boards can be a lot of fun!
Tonight I will post a message on the CAF that sort of gives an overview of how to get started. Maybe a 101 tutorial. :-)
For now, just understand that there are 3 main things that you can do:
1.) Start new posts - select a forum and click on the New Topic up in the right corner. Then just type a post.
2.) Reply to posts that someone else has started - while you are reading someone's post, just click on Add Reply in the upper right corner. Then just type a response to what the other person wrote.
3.) The third thing you can do is to send Personal (Private) Messages to other members of the boards. Just click on their user name and then select the "Send a Personal Message" option. This feature is normally used when you want to communicate with someone w/out having to post a public message.
I'll send you both a Personal Message right now so you can see how they work.
Also, you can click on "My Controls" up at the top. This is will allow you to edit your profile, add a personal photo, select an avatar, change your email setting and passwords, etc...

Thanks again for joining. As of this post, we have a total of 12 Registered Members! Not bad for the first 3 days. I can't wait until I can post a message celebrating our 100th member! Hopefully it won't take too long to get there! Please tell your friends about the CAF!
