$320 Later...

I have absolutely, unequivocally, undeniably, positively decided that I most definitely do not like Walmart. I prefer Target! Walmart is dirty, messy, crowded, & unfriendly. Target is cleaner & friendlier. At least this is my experience.

This evening Omi and I went shopping. We needed to buy a lot of things for our trip to China and also some stuff for the baby when we return. So we started out at Walmart. We spent $150. Then, we went right next door to Target and spent $170.

Here's a list of some of the things we bought...

Two-Piece PJ's
Fleece Blanket
Formula Dispenser
Hip Hammock Child Carrier
Baby Nail Care Set
Stacking Cups
Sippy Cups
Baby Bottles
Burp Cloths
Slip-on Shirts
Sheet Saver
Socks
Pants
Shirts
Infant Spoons - Disposable
Johnson's Take-Along Pack (lotion, shampoo, powder, etc...)
More Johnson's Baby Wash
Aveeno Wash & Shampoo
Nasal Aspirator
Baby Orajel
Benadryl
Glycerin Suppositories
Little Noses Saline Spray/Drops
Infants Mylicon
Vicks Thermometer
And much more but I'm tired of typing these in....

Which do you prefer? Walmart or Target? I know that the majority of the people out there probably prefer Walmart. I guess I just don't understand why... :-)

Waiting for the Phone to Ring!

CCAI started making calls at 12:00 EST. So far I have seen 4 referrals posted to the CCAI June DTC Yahoo! Group. I'm sittng here next to the phone waiting for it to ring.

Is this like the pot of water that won't boil if you stare at it? :-)

Travel Group 715

We just found out that we are in travel group 715. At this point that doesn't really tell us much. Our agency puts all of the June DTC families into travel groups based on where their babies are located in China. Monday we should know what providence we will be traveling to. But this is cool because now we can get to know the other families in our group before we travel.

Next Week = Match

It looks like we will be receiving our match next week. CCAI is telling us that we should get "the call" on Tuesday and the FedEx package on Wednesday. Pretty cool, huh?
